2007 JSM Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc
I love the Shiraz / Cab combo and this time there is some Cab Franc on board in this blend, too. This is very good wine and it is very well judged, too. There is no unwanted tannin and the alcohol is under control at 13.5. This is distinguished stuff and James Stanley Malpas, who lived on the property in 1891 and who inspired this wine, must have been a very classy dude indeed. This is the best JSM to date and I cannot wait to drink another glass.
