2008 Morse Code Padthaway Shiraz

This is a very controlled Shiraz and in spite of its latent power it presents a very friendly face. My main source of excitement in this wine is its stunning nose.  Quiet, contemplative and brooding there is oak and fruit there, but it is confident and well-knit and it opens and opens in the glass over hours (I have road-tested this personally!).  Henry’s Drive has, in my humble opinion, cracked the code!
