2008 Torbreck Cuvee Juveniles

I’m sure that you all know the story behind Juveniles – if you don’t ask a friend. But suffice to say that this is an iconic wine, with a heart of gold and a flavour to match. Torbreck takes the romantic Southern French countryside and its wild roadside herbs and liberally dusts them over its beautifully appointed Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro grapes. There are three ways to drink this wine – served chilled with aromatic Indian curries, steaming, curiously addictive yum cha or fiery hot ribs; served at room temperature, with Sunday lunch and your closest circle of pals; or, alternatively, at speed with your most treasured superhero pals on a turbo-charged, after dark raid. Either way, this wine will amaze and reward in equal measure.
