2004 Redden Bridge ‘Gully’ Shiraz

Red Alert – this is a beautifully balanced Shiraz with five years under its belt and that means one thing and one thing only – its drinking perfectly right now. The fruit has relaxed, the aroma trumpets red fruit and the finish is velvety smooth. Ordinarily you might feel compelled to summon up a haunch of venison or a leg of lamb but that is not necessary on this occasion because the mellow core of mellifluous fruit rolls on and on wooing all comers with every drop.
