2005 Jacob’s Creek Reeves Point Chardonnay

Gosh, this is like going back in a time machine. It is a privilege to taste fully mature, layered, top quality Chardonnay these days and Reeves Point impresses with its lanolin and baked bread nose. The pear and honey palate is rich and comforting and you mustn’t attempt it without a rotisserie chicken or freshly caught snapper. Wines of this style are seemingly out of fashion these days but JC knows that trends come and go and great wine will always win the day.
